Cupping
$5 - $15 + Price of Session
Cupping Therapy uses glass or plastic cups placed on the back and, in combination with heat or air, creates a suction on the back. This generates a vacuum type suction filled with negative pressure (pulling) on the soft tissue of the back. These lifts and loosens the connective tissue, and allows the therapist to access the superficial muscles as well as the deeper tissues.
While there are certain conditions you do not want to preform cupping, everyone can typically experience Cupping and enjoy the benefits.

Cupping Therapy does leave a mark on the treated area. These marks are purple or red in color and intensity of color varies on the severity of the area treated. Afterwards, clients can often use these marks as a map to see which areas are experiencing the most tension prior to treatment. These marks may be tender but rarely hurt, and dissipate as the area recovers.
